As always love St. Cosme styel with their Condrieu. Great balanced of freshness, aromatics, texture and alcohol. Can sense the warmth of the vintage in the phenolic grip here. Beautiful almost red wine like florals, violet and lavender.

Fairly opulent aromas of squishy fruit and honey. Much the same on the palate but with minerals. Acid gives the lift it needs. Very nice.

Pretty good for pre-game but not remarkable.

The 2015 is such a step up from 2014. The stone fruit jumps out at you. Fortunately I’m able to enjoy this with a prestige cuvée champagne, as well as wonderful food and company. Viognier at its’ best.

This was gorgeous. Aromatic, floral, and peach bomb. Would love to see this with age.

Disappointing. So much new oak - it could be anything underneath all of that. It would make a decent Chardonnay actually, but has lost everything that makes Viognier "Viognier". Well made - but not typific of Viognier.

A bit more lean than excepted, but a classic nonetheless.

Pretty powerful and tightly wound. Layers of dry peach, apricots, nuts, and shell like minerality are worth unraveling but probably best to keep this baby tucked away for at least a few more years. Plenty tasty today though, especially to frame certain food.
