Funky, but in a good way. Lots of barnyard w a nice balance of acid and tannins. Could have waited a few years

French oak and bramble berry on nose, spicey, tight knit (upon open and 30 hrs later). Concentrated black plum, underbrush and aged leather. Good balance of classic and modern.

70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot. Dark ruby/purple color. Distinct aromas and flavors of black licorice, blueberries, black berry/currant and plums. A distinct note of menthol. Nice touch of toasty oak on the finish. Mild tannins and nicely balanced acidity. Solid QPR.

65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Merlot. Dark purple color. Interesting aromas include red skinned applesauce, blackberry, violets and spices. Pallet is rich with flavors of black and red berries/currants, plum, dark chocolate, bramble, graphite and spices. Hints of mineral and oak on the lingering finish. Tannins are present and firm, but well integrated. Dense and complex. Excellent!

Really like this wine. Great blend of 70% cab and 30% Merlot. Decanted about 30 minutes before drinking. As other reviewers noted it has excellent tannins and acidity. It went well with the New York steak we paired it with. I am glad I waited till now to have it.

Just right

Super aromatics. Could swirl and smell this all night. Barrel toast, bramble berry, unlit cigar tobacco, bay leaf, & well worn leather. Those flavors continue on the palate along with some juicy blackberry. Falls off quickly. Really impressed for a cru bourgeois.
