Ripe red plum, cassis, red raspberry. Quite a bit of structure. Clove spiciness points toward some new oak usage. Earthy in an inorganic way - iron, graphite. Menthol on the palate. Beautiful layers.

Primary, dark red fruit, almost jammy, red florals. Bright acids.
This is pretty Bordeaux.

Rich mocha and brown earth brown sugar blueberry cumin peppermint pattie and cedar cigar box aromas lead to a medium to light mouthfeel buoyed by solid acidity. Holly leaf, dusty oak and cinnamon pointedly acquiesce into a steak and tar, graphite and red currant concave tartness, with notes of burnt citrus. Slightly abrupt finish. A lot to appreciate despite its lopsided-ness, and unusually approachable initial richness.
