Blend of 65% Sauvignon Blanc & 35% Semillon, pale lemon-green with pronounce aromas of tropical and stone fruits with herb notes, 25% new oak. On the palate flavors of melon, apple and grapefruit with peppers and a touch of herbs. Medium+ length, balanced lively acidity, ending with a fruit and mineral character. Very good to drink now, will benefit from bottle aging.

Always classic. Super nose. Powerful but delineated at the same time. They should move to a brown or green bottle because this shiz is ageworthy for sure

Even with some tropical notes this winds up feeling pretty lean and austere. Don’t think this had what it takes to age gracefully.

Aug 28th, 2021Opened another recently, legendary wine, said that in the 18th century was introduced to Sultan of Constantinople's palace b/c of its clarity and called "mineral water from Carbonnieux", defying Islamic law. Pale lemon with pronounce aromas of tropical and stone fruits with herb notes. On the palate flavors of melon, mango, apple, green herbs and a crisp mineral edge. Medium+ length, balanced acidity, ending with a fruit, citrus mineral character. Nice, aging well.

Star bright straw gold. Abundant nose of white peach, lemon, lemongrass; adding green apple, golden kiwi, and a bit of birch on the medium full palate. Long finish adds a wee bit of earth. Geez! A fantastic representative of classic Bordeaux Blanc. Enjoy with sea bass for a classic pair, but any white flesh fish will be abundantly happy. Drink now through 2028.
