Mar 24th, 202260% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc. Dominant soil type is the same gravel (and sand) which gave Graves it's name. A dry wine full of tannins and dark fruits, tastes of plum and black currants. Has a dense structure and high acidity. Very clean on the palate with a spice infused finish.
Winemaker notes: The Merlot gives the wine a fine and deep intense color while the Cabernet adds a full fruity character. The 2012 blending with a little Petit Verdot gave a vintage that is extremely pleasant and charming to drink when eating.

Very tasty after the first sip. Nice fruit on the front side. Ripe dark cherries. Still has lots of tannins. Deep color. Looks like this Rams Eagles game is going to be a shootout.

Dec 10th, 2017Straightforward and classic Bordeaux. Nothing special but nothing out of place. Heavy Cabernet flavor, noncomplex nose.
