Château Cantemerle
Les Allées de Cantemerle Haut-Médoc Red Bordeaux Blend
Haut-Médoc, Médoc, Bordeaux, France2019 vintage. It seems that you cannot go wrong with Cantemerle. This second wine is a delicious, simple and mature Haut-Médoc. Terrific value. Outperforms the Mauvezin Saint-Emilion grand cru 2019 tasted alongside. ABV. 13%.

Still too young, leave alone for quite some time.

From half bottle. Exiting its peak. Blind tasters were thinking Spain or Italy. Black licorice mentioned across the board. Would have to agree that Bordeaux wouldn’t have been my first call.

Deep Ruby with pronounced aroma intensity showing black fruits, toasty and Haney notes. On the palate flavors of black currant & blackberry, jammy, with vanilla spice and cedar notes. Biting tannins on long finish that still had plenty of room to age. Nice. Tasting Sample.
