2020 vintage. One of my favourite vintages for Cantemerle, and the second wine is delicious too. While it doesn't have the complexity and length of the grand vin, it's a nice, elegant Haut-Médoc in its own right.

Jan 19th, 20262019 vintage. It seems that you cannot go wrong with Cantemerle. This second wine is a delicious, simple and mature Haut-Médoc. Terrific value. Outperforms the Mauvezin Saint-Emilion grand cru 2019 tasted alongside. ABV. 13%.

Deep Ruby with pronounced aroma intensity showing black fruits, toasty and Haney notes. On the palate flavors of black currant & blackberry, jammy, with vanilla spice and cedar notes. Biting tannins on long finish that still had plenty of room to age. Nice. Tasting Sample.
