Vintage 2005 | Pesach Leognan is known to ripen well, and to be honest: this wine was better each time I tasted it. Dark colour, 3/4 transparant. Beautiful expressive smell, multi layered with laurel, cedar, minerals, pipe tobacco, Forrest fruits. Delicate taste with great balance, very vivid. Glorious. Paired with a deer steak.

Subtle red fruit aromas (not very showy). Lots of bramble-y red and black berry, w some char elements on the palate

Vintage 2005 / a classic #bordeaux. brown rim. a very rich smell, lovely to get new impressions because it is multi-layered. laurel. cedar. black fruit. hint of mocca, chocolate. brushwood. mushrooms. good grip in taste, well balanced. it night be á point, but i think this wine has enough potential for five years to come. #pessacleognan paired it with a deer pie and stewed pears

Ripe, dark plums, tar. A classic Bordeaux that punches above its weight in terms of cost. Art by Paul Richard, a leading Brooklyn based street artist and portraitist.

Smooth and already quite drinkable after a few hours of decanting.

Good structure and balance. Dark fruits, baking spices, already smooth, soft leather and a dark earth fruit finish. With eight to ten more years of bottle age, it's elegance will really shine. Buy it now for extreme value later.
