Côtes de Bourg Red Bordeaux Blend

So tannic at first.

I did not have high hopes for this one especially after paying $7.50. However, this is a well-structured wine! Very dark and really good. I wished I had bought more.

Agreeable high QPR #bordeaux - Purple, black fruit nose, touch of warming spice. Robust acidity leading on palate, chocolate notes, drinks less fruity than the nose, some chewy tannins that build on the finish. The tannins and acidity suggest this $15 wine would be great after another 3 - 4 years. #côtesdebourg

Easy drinker. Not too acidic. No wine headache

Tannins remind me chewing tar paper. Barely drinkable. There were better wines available this evening so I dumped this one out. OK if you’re desperate.

Very nice not too tannic for me. When back to get more all gone. Price was right.

Medium ruby in color; graphite, raspberries, and a hint of chocolate on the nose; high acidity; high tannins; tastes like cherries, cranberries, and wet gravel with a long finish. Nellie doesn't like it. Jason likes it. I do too.
