Charles Smith
Kungfu Girl Washington State Riesling
Zingy lime, coconut, honey and pear aromas. You'd guess it as Riesling from the note of steel on the nose, even though it doesn't have the kerosene. Great acidity, lemon and lime pith in the mouth. Dryer than your typical German kabinett but not quite as dry as an Alsace Riesling. Went well with a mango and tempeh salad.

Feb 17th, 2022This is a nice and easy drinking Riesling from Columbia Valley.
Showing citrus, limes, lemons, spices, light diesel and minerals.
Medium bodied with high acidity. Well balanced, crisp and refreshing.
Dry to off dry on the palate with a tangy finish and better when properly chilled.
Good by itself or with food. Will pair nicely with spicy food.
12.5% alcohol by volume.
89 points.

Dec 25th, 2017Disappointing. Flat and lifeless. Palate really unfocused...starts off crisp, lean and mineral driven, with honeyed sweetness jumping in knocking everything out of whack. I expected more for the hype.

Nov 4th, 2017Peach/nectarine fruit with vivid acidity, vaguely floral on the nose and finishes with decent minerality. Excellent balance.

Crisp aromatics, with a corresponding flavor profile, of white peach, lemony citrus, lychee and wet stone. Slightly sweet, but with a zippy acidity that keeps it clean and focused. Immensely drinkable!
