The latest in a perfect string of farming decisions by Brielle, aka Daddy's Girl (this is the 2014 edition, which I'm sure will be updated by the Delectable army in no time at all!!). Tonight, a perfect pairing with Naked Popcorn (though Naked, with Popcorn would work as well). — 10 years ago
This Cab/Syrah blend is just as it should be a couple more years on. Drinking great right now. No more in the cellar, unfortunately. Time for another trip to Los Olivos, @Keith Saarloos — 10 years ago

Textbook cherries, leather, and a touch of our attic. Last one :( — 10 years ago
Tremendous. Plenty of dark fruit and secondaries. Terrific, complex wine, especially for US$15 at Costco. Really nice surprise. — 10 years ago
Another visit to Heidi Barrett's fun red. Doing just fine. — 10 years ago
A tremendous small production Tempranillo from Amador County. California fruit meets Rioja leather with a wonderful result. Find this. And buy more than I did. — 10 years ago
Delicious. Pale yellow, with lemon and grapefruit notes on the nose (along with a little baby powder if you concentrate). And yes, a touch of cat pee. Fresh, bright, and minerally on the palate. Great Costco buy at $13.39 so you can stock up for Summer. — 10 years ago
Occasionally, you hit it big with one of these. Unfortunately, not tonight. While there's some decent fruit, this one has all the rough edges of a cheaper wine. If you're going to put "Spring Mountain" on the label, it needs to be better than this. $24.99 at Costco today. Pass. — 10 years ago

Wine #2, natch. Gorgeous, rose-y nose. Nice, but a little vegetal on the palate. Best label ever. — 10 years ago
