I couldn't resist buying this. Boom Boom! It smells and tastes like Syrah. You could age this a couple years.

Screw top ease. Distinct some may say boring label. On the classic red rose side rather than the dark plum for color. Aroma is baked fruits. Pretty much the dessert cart and ripe fruit bomb style in the aroma. Flavors are OK. Pretty fruit forward. More of a red wine of the West flavor profile than any of that distinct herbs, bacon, licorice and funk that good Syrah can show. If you’re looking for a fruit bomb, the label with the bomb will tip you off.

Loads of black fruit and little else. Fine, but most certainly boring.

Feb 27th, 2021Nice Syrah. Raspberry, Plum, and Apple are our tasting notes. Paired well with short ribs with a red wine sauce.
