Estate Grown Chalone Pinot Noir

Wow! 2010 Pinot totally shining. Wonderful balance. Red fruit and nice acidity to complement. Delicious. Chalone really leads in CA Pinot.

Great Pinot, no sign of age at all.

Solid Pinot. Clean and crisp. Tangy and plenty of red fruit.

This was supple and beautifully rounded. It felt a little like classical Chateauneuf meets Pinot Noir and has stood the test of time nicely - 1983

Showing GREAT at age 14 and admittedly being a bit "necrophiliac" when it comes to Pinot Noir I think this can easily go another 10+ years before falling off.

Personally I think this wine is on the edge of where Pinot Noir does it's best work - more on the berry fruit end of the spectrum toasty oak little simple but nice

A really solid, old school, Cali Pinot value that is certainly enjoyable, but I'm spoiled on Rivers-Marie. This just lacks the oomph factor by comparison.
