@Ron R @David A Lentine @Mike Rowe And so it Begins! 1st wine of the night. A great way to get your palate started. I've commented on this so I won't be redundant. Buy it if you can find it. This is by far the best vintage ever made by Sena. Awesome Bordeaux blend. Consider it a mini Opus for 1/3 of the price. Yes., it's that good! Awesome price point as well. That's the only wine that I can say that about tonight! Lol.

Delicious with great colour! Layers of flavour reveal themselves smoothly with a beautiful lasting finish.

I got to have some of the '12 vintage about a month or two ago and it was my first time having Seña. I was so impressed that I went searching for whatever I could find. Local wine shop here stopped selling it. Then, to my lovely surprise, I see @Martin G Rivard enjoying a bottle a few weeks ago. He so graciously sent me some in exchange for some personal recommendations from me, and I'm so excited to say that the '13 is even better than the '12. This wine is absolutely fantastic. Everything from the nose, to the structure and body feels so well aligned. Medley berries on the nose, gorgeous texture, and the taste of plums, spice and small bit of cocoa just flat out works. Buy up what you can, but please tell me where you find it before it's all gone! Thank you again, Martin! I'm excited to get introduced to Beau Vigne on my trip to Napa in a few weeks after you sent over a bottle of their Chardonnay!

A very linear and elegant Bordeaux blend based on Cabernet Sauvignon, with a high percentage of Carmenere. 2011 was a cool vintage which gives this wine great acidity and wonderful firm tannins. First vintage was 1995 with the vineyards going biodynamic in 2005.

Enjoying this bottle already for some weeks with the Coravin.
Sure this has the potential to age longer but why wait? Every glass is a joy! Leather, cocoa, pipe tobaco, black currants, dried bay leaf. Fantastic wine!

Bachelor night oct 2018. Top chilean wine winning in berlin tasting. Nose intriging. Charcoal, tea, mulberry and unique sweet sour smell that maybe chilean wine charactor. Tobacco then spicy green chewing gum, almost eculytus complex nose. Dark rose. Palate - sour bitter initial hit. Woody, tar, black n blue fruit. Quite smooth but still plenty of tannin that is abit harsh and tangy. Rather bitter like chinese med. The striking sweet bitter sense i need to drink more chilean to know if their terrior character. Getting more complex with more decanting. Getting more floral (similar to my home gardenia sticks), spicy and green...a very unique wine that i am not sure i like, very different. From this wine i understand more what floral means. Best chilean wine for me so far

2006 vintage on 24.6.18
Too early, too late or spot on? When is the perfect moment to drink a wine? This 206 vintage has a dark red purple color, even shiny. In the nose pepper, leather, tobaco, cherry, pencil, wood, nogat and even mushroom. In the mouth very well balanced. Sweet and umami, flirting with acidity and tannins smoothning. Spot on? The company was perfect for the vintage and I assume it has some years ahead but why wait? Because it can?

This is finally enjoyable. All it took was 4 bottles and 10 years.
