Trout Gulch Vineyard Chardonnay

I would lay down until 2020/2021. Not ready yet.

I keep opening these too young. This has to be my favorite ceritas chard bottling. All the GC Chablis comparisons are spot on. Nose has candied lemon and tangerine, seashell, flint, and a kind of musty maritime quality. Bracingly acidic and saline. Begs for raw bar. Should continue to deepen with time. I think I have one more and will try not to touch for another 3-5 years

Evolving nicely and starting to round some. Mineral driven with a touch of citrus. Finish lingers.

Electric acidity, citrus, minerality and gravely texture. Great stuff.

gobs of acid ⚡️⚡️⚡️. alc 12.5%. amazing for a cali chard.

Powerful lemon curd and Granny Smith tartness streaming’s from the glass. Wonderful weight and almost chewy texture... minerality and acidity shore up the finish... gets better as it warms.

Lemon oil, tangerine, oyster shell and acid.
