A big letdown when compared to our favorite releases from Occhipinti. Stewed red plums up front. My guess is this was picked late, and is therefore missing some of the bright light red fruit and acidity that we typically enjoy in this great ready-for-summer red wine. Some vegetal notes in this wine as well. Purchased at Jimmy’s Food Store.

Lots of pretty flowers and spice on the nose. red fruited freshness on the palate.

Beautiful ruby color. Cherry, cranberry, cassis. Little bit of tar, slight bitterness. Not tasting the spice as much - clean palate - but the acidity is insistent and gives this wine structure.

Red fruit profile on the tart side w/healthy dose of damp Earth, dust, tomato vine, savory & spice. Definitely on the rustic side - not as juicy as expected, decent quaff tho overpriced @ $20

Smells like manure. Has a slight anise flavor. Goes well with baking Krampus gingerbread men🎄
