Nov 28th, 2015More earth than primary fruit in the nose, and the wine is not shy on fruit. Dry farmed intensity with dusty pedigree. Seamless and sexy, plush, dusty and structured simultaneously. I would like to put this bottle in s time machine for 7 years, although the baby fat is truly charming right now.

May 30th, 2015Minerally black-fruited with a long chalky finish. Not my cup of tea personally but I can see the merits

Jul 16th, 2016Quite dense (dance?) with a blueberry hue on the nose as well. Rocky and deeply earthy. Cabernet S makes it fleshy and 'modern' but the guts of Montsant are x-rayed evidently - mineral, ripe with a bead of acidity that all keep it in form. Crushed blackberries on the palate make you find yourself in a Russian forest (rocky Altai maybe) with an empty bottle and hare lost in a blue/blackberry forest outskirts and eaten). Heaven))

Nov 25th, 2015Cherry and wood. Well rounded with a nice spice. Eoin can taste a buttery base.

Sep 5th, 2015We both liked a lot. Very balanced, dark color, low acid, only slightly fruity, a little spicy and a little chocolate. (S says big, bold and juicy.) Went great w steak and pan sauce, holds up to heavy meats. Like a better version of Finney's E. 50% carignan, 45% syrah, 5% grenache. SLW, $21.
