First good wine back from a trip to the islands.
Some islands can get much better wines than others.

A neat blend, ripe cherry nose.
Thick jam persists. A pleasant wave of gravelly fruit, violets, dark cherry, Pomegranate juice.
A great wine to come back to.

Ripe red and black cherry aromas, light on the palate but with some richness to the body (toasty oak - MM) and all those cherry flavors. Some acidity, some black pepper tannins. Bring on the chili and Happy Halloween!! 🎃

I tried this in a Spanish tapas restaurant in Albuquerque and I thought it was really good.

A big wine that can handle very rich foods

Medium-full bodied, moderate tannins, higher acidity, dry. Currants and plums, some briar. Seems a little hot. Great companion to a grilled ribeye.

Quite powerful this. Slate and bleach cherry on the nose. Medium bodied and smooth, with light tannins. Dark berry, vanilla, and a hint of sweetness. Quite a bit of alcohol in this one.

Light to medium body, smells like red fruits and spice (cinnamon?), tastes of cherry, very fruit forward, with some Carmel like after taste
