Cayuse Vineyards
Armada Vineyard Syrah
This is as resolved a bottle of Armada that I've had. Zero volatility, just smooth black fruit and a nice lush finish. This is a drink now wine--it has plenty of life left but my guess is that it's beginning to lose some vibrancy.

Sep 6th, 2017Gamey and meaty with loads of bacon fat on the nose. After breathing, more red fruit and briny green olive notes. Great mouthfeel and lots of years left.

Sep 17th, 2015Big, smoky and powerful. Nothing unexpected from Cayuse. Meaty flavors of black fruit dominate, but granite and cedar make a showing.
