Caymus Vineyards
Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Found another ‘17. Dark Ruby with aromas of ripe berry fruit and floral spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, black cherry, plum and currants with complex spice showing notes of cacao, cinnamon and rich vanilla oak. Graceful soft tannins, nice mouthfeel, great balance with acidity, long finish, ending with notes of oak, smoke and mineral notes. Nice!

1 person found it helpfulAug 3rd, 2020This Napa Valley Cabernet is always enjoyable. Full bodied, big and bold, with lots of chocolate notes, cedar vanilla, mocha, coffee, earth, coke and black pepper
Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up and shows some tannins.
Long finish with firm tannins and tangy cherries.
Good now and will be better in the next 5 to 20 years.
14.8% alcohol by volume.
93 points.
$80.

Classically big, juicy, fruit-dense, and powerful—smooth tannin structure—not much secondary and tertiary notes—loving Caymus is, as always, a question of your palate
