I was a little worried when I opened this because the cork had hints of soil and mildew so I thought this bottle may be corked. It was not however. This wine is Youthful and maybe a little immature to be drunk already. Notes of Cranberry, over ripe strawberry and bing cherry followed by subtle hints of spice. On the palate I got all those same notes as well as some green bell pepper. Well balanced with a nice long finish.

Crimson red, with light intensity. Nose was very tight, if there even is one. Smells slightly acidic. Palate has a slight acidic bite and very dry. Low tannins and light body. Very dry finish with a moderate finish. 100% Cabernet Franc. A solid cabernet franc from the Loire Valley, did not exceed expectations, just met then for an $11.99 bottle.

Pours a light ruby in color. Aromas of cherry and green. Flavors of slight be pepper and tart cherry win hints of tobacco and earth. Light bodies and short finish. Definitely not a U.S. Cab Franc but it's not bad at all.
