My first #saumurchampigny. I love Loire Valley #cabernetfranc - Enchanting aroma of violets, boysenberry jam and wet stone. Medium-rich body, dark fruit, leather and forest floor mid-palate with a specter of black pepper trailed by steady acidity and refined tannins on a long finish. ~$17 at Total Wine and more elegant than the Chinon I tried from there recently. — 18 days ago
Nose of cherry, violet, green bell pepper, black pepper, and a creamy lactic note.
Cherries and cranberries on the palate with beautiful acidity and minerality (think kids chewable vitamins). Hints of that creaminess come through as well. Long finish.
Damn fine wine for a great price. One of my favorite rosés this season. — 7 months ago
Lots of petrol, mineral and honey on the nose. The label has the color of a honey melon which suits the wine perfectly. Smooth finish and with refreshing acidity — 8 months ago
