Very nice, easy drinking Langhe with nice mix of red and dark fruit. Medium, very smooth tannins. Medium plus acidity. Medium body. Nice finish. Would love to have this again with pizza or pasta with red sauce,

So solid. As good as some Barolo I've had.

Oak aged for "15-18 months", the med weight savoury flavours are underpinned w firm tannins. An agreeable traditionally made Langhe nebb. That said, my preference is for the modern styles with less or no oak aging Alla Benevelli

A pair of Langhe '11. Both looking good. Vietti quite technical, one to be patient with for $35, Cavallotto a bit of savoury animal fun booze for $50ish! Both solid examples of Nebbiolo! #FilthyGoodVino #wine #vinorosso #nebbiolo #cavallotto #vietti

Brick red with a slightly orange rim. Dark cherries, rose petals, and licorice on the nose. Dark red fruit on the palate with sturdy tannic backbone and reigned in acidity. It paired well with Ossobuco and Mushroom Risotto. Made from grapes declassified from their Bricco Boschis Barolo bottling, this is a nice value at half the price and is drinking very well right now while your Barolo is cellaring.

Beautiful. Nicely structured and full bodied. A little spicy. Only thing that would have made this better was having it in Italy. Wish I bought more.

Classic Nebbiolo, but seemed a little closed and inactive. Will probably wait a few more months to try another one.
