Powerful aromatics. Herbs, red fruits, dried flower petals. The palate is more broad shouldered and intense. Gripping tannins. Ageworthy, or a great match for rib eye now.

Been lucky to have plenty of this in '16. Such an intense wet and earthy woodsiness with dried figs and cranberry.

Not as delicious as borgogno and G. Mascarello freisa. Had nice floral and liquorish aromatics tho but very little depth. Ended short on palate but Still enjoyable for price

Nice everyday wine from an older and less common grape. Better day 2. Aromatic with strawberries and candied cherries. Slightly tart on opening but smooth day 2. Raspberry, strawberry, clove and some mineral. Moderate finish.
