Toscana IGT 2009, 14%. Bottle tasted in November 2014. Sangiovese grapes aged in wood, for a rich but smooth wine, typically Tuscan, better paired with food in my opinion.

Great structure, strong tannins for drinking without food, but still very enjoyable on its own. Lots of earth, great nose. 2008 vintage.

Opened strong, once decanted it mellowed out and was amazing! Rich in flavors, with a touch of earth.
