Decent budget rose. Light pinky orange salmon color. Reminiscent of a Provence rose with tart raspberry and orange zest. A bit of unripened strawberry too. Simple but effective.

IGT Salento Rosato 2014.
Tasted in February 2015, at "deGusto Salento" event.

I'm such a sucker for a rosé that gives me an interesting nose, freshness through balanced acidity and a tart fruit finish.

Damn, I had this at a tasting and fell head over heels for it- I remember that I couldn't get anything on the nose so when I tasted the balance and the wonderful finish and unique flavors on the tongue I was blown away.
Then I bought a bottle... And it was a completely different wine.
Still nothing on the nose and the taste was flat - I saw potential in this wine and will explore more rosé from the Negroamaro grape.
(I split my rating between the 8.0 and the 9.+)
