A Burgundy with a wink to piemonte... pine tar, tobacco, leather, smoke... salty on the mouth, more tannic than expected. And that beautiful burgundy berry. Unique and beautiful. Super happy. — 2 years ago
Lovely balanced easy to drink yet complex gamay. Intense fruit (dark cherry jam) maybe something floral too. — 2 years ago
Lovely. Nutty with dried fruit vibes. — a year ago
Really pleasant surprise form Armenia, by a French-trained American chef-turned-winemaker ✨ — 2 years ago
Decent for the price but nothing amazing. Lovely and elegant, maybe a burgundy that feels 30% like a CA Pinot (In a good way if you’ll allow). If it was $15 a bottle I’d buy a case. — 2 years ago
Very light and dry. The only other schioppettino I’ve had is from the horrible Bressan; in comparison this one is almost uneventful. A little herby but none of that wonderful weird patchouli you get in the Bressan... maybe just a tiny bit if you really search for it. — 2 years ago
Love the philosophy, can’t stand the product. I suppose when you go this non-interventionist you expect some flaws, but I found an intolerable level of Bret in this wine, covering anything that could have been good. I rarely pour out a bottle but we could only get through half of this one. — 2 years ago
Ripe pear on the nose, a hint of citrus on the finish, elegant and dry... overall a lovely wine — 2 years ago
So tightly wound, drinks more like a langhe Nebbiolo than a burgundy. Light, but tannic and tart. Even on the second day didn’t really open up much. It’s a lower priced burgundy but maybe it’s worth spending more, or alternatively spending less for a good langhe... — 2 years ago

Excellent “natural” st Aubin that holds up to a classic palette. More classic than their Pinot noir. Really elegant and lovely. — 5 months ago
