Holy Bacchus this is delicious. Earthy, damp forest floor, dried flowers, cocoa powder, leather and spice, rich but not overpowering tannins, mellow and well rounded but with a berry, dark-cherry tartness. From Shawn's.

Sour cherries, crushed dried roses, cigar, leather, balsamic, bay leaf, truffle, cedar, tarragon, mint. Perfect acid/rough velvet tannin balance, full bodied yet elegant silky texture, long complex herbal, smoky, slightly floral finish. Paired with ribeye, beets and squash because I'm not an idiot.
