After the Fontalloro
I would say better, more elegant
Still young, cherry, rose, camphor, a bit of talc powder.

The fruit was in the Marsala mode, but retaining some interesting herbal notes. Backbone very stout. Fun to taste, dissect and discuss. Thanks to Gianluca for sharing!

Quite developed, yet expressive. Cherry kirsch, tar, and sandalwood flavors with undertones of soy sauce. A value for an aged Barbaresco that regretfully gets out shone by 1996 vintage.
