Dark ruby (almost purple) color. Plush aromas of purple flowers, black fruits and baking spices. Just a touch of Brett. The pallet is loaded with black berry/cherry/raspberry fruit. Touch of black pepper on the long finish. Full bodied. Interesting varietal.

One of the better Bonarda wines from Oltrepò Pavese. Plenty of red and black fruit, some subtle spices and smooth tannins. This is my favorite regions for Bonarda.
