2009 Pretty smooth

Try this with a filet mignon with a bourbon cream sauce! Superb! Ruby with blackberry, cherry, and plum aromas. Nice spice, acidity, and mild tannins. Smooth with a medium finish.

Very smooth well rounded cab! Big fruit and nice tannins. Very approachable and balanced.

Needs a decant. Youthful

Although this is just one of there standard Cabs and not single vineyard, we thought it was fantastic and my oldest bottle from the Castle. Rich ruby with aromas of blueberry, plum, and cedar. On the bud, it is smooth and full bodied with berries and spice. The finish is long. Went great with our filets and rosemary potatoes.

2016- smoky and good tobacco taste. Rich earthiness, with thick dark fruit. Strong tannin structure without lingering too long

As a Napa Cab should be; dry, smooth, full flavored and well balanced.

You are the king or the queen of the castle with this cab. Deep red, dark cherry, cigar box, pairs well with medium rare tenderloin.

One of those Cabs that feels like it was engineered to get a 90 point score from Wine Spectator. Inky, super concentrated, almost viscous mouthfeel, smells like cassis, smoky, with relatively soft tannins.
