Full bodied with medium plus acidity and long legs.
Dry and fruity on the palate with raspberries, red cherries, spices, light oak, tobacco, plums, peppercorn, dark chocolates and light earth.
Tangy finish with round tannins and tangy pomegranates.
This is a tasty Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot based blend from Napa Valley. Rich and tangy.
Better after an hour of airtime, but good right out of the bottle too.
This 6 year old from Napa feels like a super Tuscan. Interesting stuff.
Showing nice complexity and will continue to drink nicely in the next 3 years.

Nicely balanced and well thought out for a 6 grape blend. Awesome with spaghetti and marinara.

This red blend starts a bit harsh . But after you take that first big swallow , the subsequent swallows are nice . Plenty of structure and flavors , this is a nice value at $30 per bottle .

Oct 25th, 2020Truly an amazing wine. I got it from the castle about a year ago, and this wine is fantastic. Ripe cherry and plum flavors, beautiful spiced notes- black pepper and cardamon. Finished smooth and has a great linger. Great red blend with a lot of complexity!

Apr 21st, 2020Decanted and swirled. Aroma of old world dusty dark fruit. Big big dark fruit up front the a burst of tannic dryness in the middle. Then a fast finish to a mild dusty dryness.

A simply wonderful cab aroma. Delicious to inhale. Long dark fruit and great balance. Wine seems under rated to me. Maybe I just got a great bottle at winery.
