This producer’s Rieslings are special. There is a zingy combination of crushed rock minerality and acidity that makes your nose and palate physically tingle. And with a couple of years of bottle age, deep appley fruit is emerging. Great depth of flavor. Very long, lip-smacking finish.

Always loved this cuvee. Nose is a bit quiet. Lemon. Mineral. Some confectionary aromas. Some slate. But quiet. Palate is dense and airy but also has vibrant minerality and freshness. Very pure and clean. Juicy. Terrific texture and perfect hit of opulence. Concentrated and juicy. Long. Brilliant wine.

Great Riesling. Nose is intense but very elegant. Crisp apple and a light just-ripe peach. Nice slatey minerality. Soft in the mouth but with piercing acids at the same time. Laser focus. Lip-smacking all the way through the long finish.

Lovely finesse driven Ellegrub. Lemon curd, slate, blue fruits, palate is gorgeous. Weighty but also so fine and refined. Great finesse. Good concentration and purity and a hint of sweet ripe fruit. Almost comes across as slightly Kabinett feinherb but it’s 12% and Spatlese ripeness. Very nice. Good balance.

Screaming enkirch typicity. Terrific minerality. Especially on the nose. Green apple. Lemon peel. Some depth after a half hour. Really starts to hit you then. Almost like confit of apple and lemon. Awesome structure. Rally well made. A wine professional wine. Great with food. My guess will be sick in ten years. Hope this wasn't the last bottle. Bought from Fass selections.

At Dao Fu in San Diego with my Family and my Massage therapist an ultra foodie with a good palate. Green apples on the nose. You can already sense this will be the diesel/oily/wet garden hose type in 5 years from now! Excellent I am very impressed. From Lyle Fass the email importer. Here he is spot on. Beautiful mineraltity, sour green apple. Very classic flawless Mosel. Needs to be revisited in 5 years from now. Awesome.

Gosh I love the Ellergrub. This is a more weighty version, kind of in between WK and Immich Batterieberg. Mineral core of goodness with zest of lemon and white flowers. Chablis-esque.

Tasty Riesling. Minerals wrapped in a lemon rind. Lovely floral nose. A bit awkward on the finish but all in all a wine I look forward to drinking several more times.

What a nose. Mineral, slate, confectionary nose. Dry, mineral and slatey, juicy, concentrated and pure. A. Bit closed but it's all there. Terrific balance and purity.

Mineral, much more viscous, ripe and more wild yeasty. Good acids but huge ripeness. Dense and nice complexity. Juicy. A bit closed.
