Black California Red Blend

Petite Sirah, Alicante Bouschet, Carignane & Grenache blend. Very tannic, some acidity, opens up as it sits. What impresses me is that Cashmere supports lots of great non-profit organizations. Big wine that would pair nicely with red meat.

Drank in May 2020. About 15 minutes open and it calms down from its alcohol forward start...but the alcohol remains but not so heavy. Nice texture, as the name implies. Red fruits and light oak.

Petite Sirah, Alicante Bouschet. Aromatic notes of blueberries with flavors of boysenberry, black cherry, chocolate and hint of spice. Velvety, flavorful and delicious. Maaaarvelous!!!

You either love it or hate it, in this case I love it, this is one of my favorite blends. Deep dark flavors, since it’s considered aged by now, the alcohol definitely calm down. It has peaked but the flavors never faded. Hints of Chocolate and black cherry. no heavy aftertaste.  can’t wait to try the new vintages and blends. 

Strong tart blackberry flavor with a little leather and black pepper. Medium bodied and tannins.

Love this was a gift!!! Notes of black cherry and chocolate rich. Went well with Delmonico steak.

Big bold bouquet. Blackberry and cassis upfront. Big and jammy.

The first one I drank with Liz other than from my Christmas present. One of my favorites very good.
