Full bodied barbera cab blend. Likely more Cabernet than barbera. Slightly tannic but not overwhelming. 2010 was a great year. Can go another 5 years but don't risk going further. Paired with porchetta, sautéed spinach and aged provolone ravioli by Vera Pasta with sweet tomato gravy. Was great upon opening and held steady throughout. Strongly recommended at $28.99 Total Wines Claymont.

This wine was remarkable! Decanted for 3 hours and enjoyed aromas of tar, violet, cut plum, blackberry and leather. Excellent tannic structure and great balance. Awesome value.

Wonderful blend from piedmont, barbera merlot cab and Nebbiolo. I decanted for 2 hrs, med acidity, firm tannins, plum and light berry notes with a long finish.

We had the 2006 Vintage on 2/18-20/16. Much smoother on the second night. Tastes of dark berries, leather and menthol. Good value.
