Ok, so like Michael said, there was this funky cheese whiff when we first opened it, but after some air (and a bottle of Ziereisen Lugle pinot blanc and conversation about pussy hat parades), this wine settled in as the perfect companion to our smitten kitchen one pan chicken tikka with potatoes and cauliflower. Nutty, mellow, nutmeg, and smooth tannins in a white whine ("orange wine" to be exact). Yum. Sad I only have the one more bottle...

Weird! More later! Volatile and citrus and vanilla and coconut. Soft texture, citrus, herbs. Weird wine. But balanced fresh and pure.

Yes the nose is off on open. It needs 30 minutes. And yes it’s oxidized (intentionally). But I love this wine. Great rich fruit. Juicy. Nice fresh long finish. Love love love. Bought from Fass Selections.

Pretty sure this is orange Cortese. Skin contact like a mofo. Super savory fwd but dark citrus on the back end. An impressive, exotic spicy aromatic quality I can't pinpoint. Tannins are there but in balance. Super fun wine. Bndvno.
