Dark ruby in color with a wide brick rim.

Gorgeous nose of black currants, plums, cooked cherries, dried figs, cedar, licorice, vanilla, spices, chocolates, tobacco, herbs, light earth and black pepper.

Full bodied and elegant with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with plums, currants, cedar, earth, vanilla, licorice, spices, chocolates, tobacco, herbs, coffee and peppercorn.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and cherries.

This is a delicious Barolo from the great Cannubi Vineyard. Well balanced with nice complexity and a soft mouthfeel.

This 12 year old is great right out of the bottle. Soft and smooth. Elegant and fruity.

Didn't need too long to open up. It was shining after 45 minutes in the decanter. Loved the nose here. Delicious stuff.

Wine Enthusiasts 92 points.

Peaking now and will continue to drink nicely in the next 5 to 7 years.

Good by itself or with food.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

93 points.

$80.

It’s a good Barolo at this price - entry level in many ways, but solid. Needs a bit of time to really find itself - acid is a bit overpowering as of July 2023 on the 2018 vintage.

Firing palate, lacking nose. Thin cork? So very good. Drank with fresh black trumpet mushroom pasta. Amazing combo.

This was great. Sleek and elegant, with polished tannins and youthful fruit dominating the finish. I'm in for a case.

Ripping so hard. Dazzling aromatics. So fresh and lively while at the same time deeply complex and rich like you want from Barolo. Excellent.
