Naoki's Vineyard Malbec

Medium put; medium intensity aromas of black plum, mulberry, bramble, dried plum; dry, medium plus acid, medium tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, medium plus intensity flavors consistent with aromas; concentrated fruit and underbrush, fresh and well balanced

Concentrated red berries lead to a very smooth, velvety palate. Nice acidity keeps this from feeling heavy.

Blueberry sauce, black cherry, violets, cocoa powder, dried herbs, underbrush, coffee grounds. A tiny bit syrupy but delicious with the BLT pasta tonight

Tasty

Single vinyard with more mineral chocolate notes than fruit. Smooth with long finish

Plum, cherry, black tea leaf, hint of dark chocolate and light floral scent fill a very aromatic nose. On the palate it gentle and smooth, with round acidity and resolved tannins. Lingering finished with a mineral undertone.
A well balanced and polished single vineyard Malbec.

Certainly tasted the herbs and noted the minerality, but not so much the fruit.
