2012 Casa Mia #Chardonnay, #Sicily, #Italy. Interesting wine but doesn't necessary have typicity of Chardonnay. More Reminiscent of other Sicilian white blends but at $9 SRP, it offers great value. Notes of yellow apple, pineapple and citrus peel with a distinctive salty/mineral component. Round and lush mouthfeel. I don't detect any oak but if it's there.
