Ruby red with a rust rim. Very nice red cherry, raspberry, dark truffle, and mushroom with a hint of vanilla. Tannins have smoothed and very pleasant. Nice acidity to keep it fresh.

I honestly don't remember where this bottle came from (ie, why I had it to drink in the first place), but it was delicious.
