This is my last bottle of this superb CCR. All sorts of secondary and tertiary scents found on. Gravel, sandstone, roasted herbs, almost a eucalyptus thing, iodine, macerated dark cherry, exotic spice market. Perfectly balanced in the mouth, with great acids and flavors that still seem youthful despite being 8 years old. Great stuff.

Mar 25th, 2020Very nice. Nose has mulled cherry, warm gravel, and old leather. Dry and a bit tannic, but the tannins were subdued by the braised beef this accompanied. Moderate acidity.

Nov 20th, 2017Textbook. Nose has ripe macerated cherries shot through with gravelly minerals. Rich but with nice tannins and acids. Clingy dark cherry fruit and dark minerality in the mouth. Long finish. Very good!
