Really vibrant with solid foundation of cherry and bark and cola and a nice finish of nutmeg, black cherry and bacon fat... Lovely wine after 2 hours of being opened

Tonight's tasting: Pinots from around the world. Group ranked 1 of 5. The most elegant and nuanced of all the wines we tasted. Balanced flavors of pomegranate and raspberry with a hint of earth.

Delicate and light yet filled with dark cherry flavors. Nicely balanced acidity and very smooth finish.

Great example of north California Pinot Noir: a delicate, fruity nose, but with a grainy depth on the palate.

Lovely tertiary port/dark fruit notes. Cherry cola, molasses, clove, and nutmeg, slight turpenes on the nose. Drinking beautifully; a touch past it’s prime, but could have been the partially-disintegrated cork.

Bright Raspberry tart and chalky at first. Bright and juicy. With air dark cherries and hint of blueberry. Plenty of acid and low in %. Very Burgundian in style. Keep for 2-3 years or drink now. Elegant.
