May 12th, 2023The dark ruby kosher wine from Galilee has a nose which is rustic and earthy. Plum and other dark red fruit aromas abound, while spices show themselves well. The palate shows plenty of minerals and earth notes without crossing over into chalkiness. The finish is medium long.

Mar 23rd, 2021My first wine from Israel. The low ratings on delectable surprised me. Maybe people are too used to big bold Napa fruit bombs. This cab is constrained, almost medium bodied, austere, but delicious. This wine screams for food, sort of like a Nebbiolo.

Apr 17th, 2020First Cab I've had from Israel. Juicier than. A California Cab. Nice wine, but not the right one for the evenings tacos.

Jan 30th, 2022I love trying wines from non-typical regions. Solid, slightly bitter and dry and oakey.

Feb 20th, 2017tl;dr: Serviceable, not great.
Long version.... on opening it had a weak nose, pleasant, but nothing particularly interesting emerges... initial taste is pretty acidic.... left to breathe for an hour it mellows a little.., overall it's sharp and a little bitter with a hint of good complexity on the mid-to-late palate (teases, but never pleases). Maybe I should have let it breathe longer?
Final thoughts.... given that the vintage I tried is four years old, I don't think it's going to turn a corner if rested for another 24-36 months... I'll look for something else next time rather than buy this one again.
