My WOTN. I’ve had some Carlisle’s that came across as jammy fruit bombs and this was such a delight. Fruit forward but very well balanced. An excellent showing tonight.

Day 3 of this and it keeps getting better. Dusty, dark cherry, light pepper and spice, strong (in a very good way) citrus streak mid-palate, mouthwatering acid, really well made.

Hails from a vineyard planted 123 years ago in Russian River AVA. Intoxicating aroma of boysenberry, vanilla and black pepper. Intense dark fruit flavors and the prototypical Carlisle finish. Still going! 300 case production.
