Jan 10th, 2019Really enjoyed this wine. Quite complex on the nose and taste. Caramel, vanilla, and a hint of oak on the nose. I thought it was somewhat bitter up front, then Smokey, slightly grape juicey, finishing quite dry. Would love to have this wine again especially for the price.

This inexpensive wine is surprisingly good,full body, excellent flavor typical to the great robust wines of Sicily. I already bought a few.

Rich and not too big...I like Italian reds, but normally don't love them, until Nero!
