Devon Greco di Tufo DOCG Greco Bianco

Solid. Maybe a little ripe for me.

Holding up just fine, this crushed the linguine Vongole that these clams transformed into.
One of the more full bodied Italian white wines that gets its density naturally and not from oak. The texture is like Condrieu, waxy and full bodied, while the aroma and taste are more Italian with bright white orchard fruits, a vein of minerality and good freshness. This held its own against an umami heavy dish as I reduced the flavors a little more than the recipe called for.

Solid Campagnian wine, texturally somewhere between Viognier and Chardonnay, with good acidity. Pear, peach pith, and white blossoms highlight a medium to full bodied white with great length on the finish.

Easy drinking white, starts sweet/fruity but isn’t really. We had it with sardine orzo but it would drink nicely on its own

Rich, ripe and fleshy. Not shy on acidity, with a flavor liked grilled peaches and an oily mid-palate. The tufo of Avellino seems to drive the palate of Irpinian whites, whether Greco or Fiano. #swc

Light floral aroma and taste, smooth and pretty gentle

Richer version of GdT than some. Great balance of fruit and acidity. Long finish

Yellow pale color to tease the American ladies that love chardonnay, but crispy and clean in the palate with exotic fruits and layers of peach and almond flowers

Hint of green melon and perfume, light but some richness, nice white fig finiish.
