Valtellina Superiore DOCG 2009, Sassella, 13.5%. Good color, surprisingly bright for a Nebbiolo. The nose was interesting, but in my opinion the wine needs to be decanted a couple of ours before drinking because it took a long time to reveal all the interesting smells. Nice in the mouth, probably better in a couple of years. 81/100

Lättare nebbi med lite mjukare och lätt fatad stil. Rosor, tjära och bärsaft. Avslutar torrt med kanske inte riktigt den vanliga syran.

Nose was a bit restrained and didn't seem to come around. Flavor was beautiful, that neb taste in a lighter mouthfeel. Nice fruit. Tannins fill the mouth on the finish. But lightly.
