T'ara Rà Campania Greco

As polarizing as they come. I, luckily, enjoyed the hell out of it! Insanely mineral, saline, citrus, and savory. While I find this combination a lot in wines grown farther North, it’s so interesting to taste these profiles in a wine that is obviously from hot, sunny locations.

Zesty tangerine cayenne chili sage cider, great acidity and texture. Fucking alive! #yum

Lovely extended macerated Greco. Thyme and sage with hard cider undertones. Well balanced with savory long finish.

Organic Greco grown on altitude (650m). Extensive time on skins lends grip. Full of grit & smoke. Cool wine.

Interesting new producer from Campania. Hay, quince, acacia. High acid, cider finish.

Really luscious texture with good acidity, but too funky for me.

Tastes like a Mediterranean dream. Salty, sweet, citrusy, sunny late afternoon kinda wine. Could never say no to it

Greco! Reminds me of Ageno. Orange rind, candied, marmalade, mint / sage, musky. Great food wine, punchy, enticing, mouth-watering, multidimensional. Amazing with mussels in saffron-garlic-tomato broth. Perfect match with mussel mealiness and wine astringency on palate (without any bitterness!).
