Starting out a bit shy the last pour (with heavy sediment) was actually the best. Air certainly brought out the sweetness of this great Barolo vintage.

This wine needs hours in the decanter. At first glance may seem a little tired, but with air starts to real shine. Good. Not epic

One hour in the decanter. Lots of sediment. Cork removed by a Durand and still in good condition. Umami and tar while it gained volume and mouthfeel in the glass over the next hour. Savory and delicious. 🤤
