Nose focused but subtle. Sour cherry, licorice, roses, and tar. Classic. Beautifully and gently textured with a persistent finish. Just lovely.

Even at 10 years needs some time to open. The bitter, medicinal cherry quality I dislike in Nebbiolo initially, but mellowed out to sexy red fruit and florals/spice with about an hour in decanter. Slightly corked (wont hold it against it), super value, lighter Nebbiolo delight. 💖arpepe

I've now seen the promise land. This wine has everything I'm looking for. In non wine terms it has soul. Every once in a while a wine evokes an emotional response! I may be sitting at Donato's in Redwood City Ca, but my mind is in Valtellina.
