British bubbly - nice enough, not particularly complex or ‘champagne’ like but good quality fizzy. Apparently made using the Merret method rather than MC. Buy again? Meeh....

I've only tried one other British-made wine. Quite tasty! Tart apple cider notes make it off-dry. Nice champagne alternative with our first festive December meal of pork loin and polenta with lingonberry sauce 🎄

Very light sparkling. Pear, apples, honey. Acid is there but lighter than you might expect. Short, but pleasing finish.

Nice nose, sweet on the front with some great acidity mid palate, with a nice grapefruit sour finish. Surprising!
